A circle in a circle

While pondering things in a meandering fashion one day I realised that, to many people, the word all represents wholeness in some respects. A circle also represents wholeness. I was wondering what it would look like if a circle was placed inside a circle, being a wholeness inside of a wholeness. Is that possible? Does that make sense? I quite like this idea as there’s a simplicity about it.

I quite like the drawing here, though it’s not particularly brilliant. I think I might like it because I enjoyed doing it. I wouldn’t mind doing a couple more to see what happens. This might well remain a sideline though as I can’t see how it fits into the main channel of my thought.

This circle was shown in the middle of a collection of bits and pieces hanging from clothes pegs, a growing sketchbook of sorts. The map in the bottom left is a rough illustration of the different scandinavians coming into old England and setting the process of English becoming English in to motion.
