Final show website

The final show website is now done. Everyone who’s seen it seems quite happy with it. Here’s the link: http://mada2009.madigitalarts.co.uk. Please click on the images for bigger versions.

I’ve learned a lot in doing it. Before making this site I hadn’t used a jQuery plugin. I tried a few out for this and have ended up using Colorbox to display the map. I also used a plugin for the sliding bar beneath the top menu.

Quite a few people have given me lots of advice about design or general consistency, mainly Simon, Noel, Tim, David and Julian. All of them have made useful suggestions and criticisms. I’ve learnt quite a bit about design from Noel and Simon. They’ve been really specific about making the finished site balanced and disciplined with a strong hierarchy of information. This has been a good thing.
